Bio:
Dee Andrews lives in Boulder, Colorado and Valletta, Malta, though her roots are planted in a small Kansas town. A lifelong reader, she began writing in 2009 after living through a swine flu outbreak in Spain—a moment that piqued her interest in the 1918 influenza pandemic and inspired her debut historical novel, THE FEVERED WORLD (2027.) Her short story The Enemy Within, based on the opening of the novel, received an Honorable Mention in Glimmer Train’s Short Story Award for New Writers.
When not immersed in writing, Dee enjoys downward dogs, camping, hiking, and traveling with her husband. She treasures time with their daughters and long dinners with friends. A sun-kissed tomato from her parents’ garden might be her favorite food.
