Under a Falling Star

Susanna Robinson’s mother told her never, ever to trust a man, claiming they would love you oh so briefly and then leave you heartbroken. In fact, she repeated the words so many times that they are like a mantra in Susanna’s head every time she thinks of Sheriff Albert Preston.  Albert, however, holds a secret that can only be told after a specific letter arrives.  Those plans are stayed by a disaster of a train wreck in their small town in Wyoming in 1883. On that train is an old acquaintance of Susanna, another male, Dalton Babcock, who after the crash recognizes Susanna and thinks it is a coincidental and fond re-acquaintance.  Dalton meanwhile is trying to foil an attempt of theft of $1 million he is supposed to be guarding. The ever-shifting plot picks up and becomes frenetic with the arrival of another two people who will shock Albert, Dalton, Susanna and the town right out of their small town complacency. This is a fine Western romance that lovers of the genre are sure to enjoy!
