Bounty of Vengeance: Ty’s Story
Ty Ledger, former sheriff of Cheyenne, Wyoming, is on the trail of Patch, a half-Indian serial killer who murdered Ledger’s wife and unborn child. It’s 1877, and Ledger, along with bounty hunter Johnny Roth, is following the killer’s trail from Deadwood and into Lincoln County in New Mexico Territory. Their quest takes them to a region at war not only with the Comanche, led by the renegade Chero, but also the beginnings of a range war among the cattlemen in the county, led by rancher John Chisum.
The second book in the Bounty series, this exceptional Western story will have readers on the edge of their seats. The action is a prelude to the infamous Lincoln County War in New Mexico Territory. Great dialog is the cornerstone of this story, while the author’s ability to immerse the reader into Western culture of the era treats us to provocative descriptions of the locale. I highly recommend this novel.
