Karen K. Brees
Bio: Karen K. Brees is the author of The WWII Adventures of MI6 Agent Katrin Nissen series: Crosswind, Headwind, Whirlwind, and Westwind (coming this November from Black Rose Writing. She holds a master's degree in history from The Ohio State University and a doctorate in education from the University of Idaho. She's been a librarian for the State Library of Ohio, a classroom teacher in California and Idaho, a university professor in Idaho, and an academic editor working internationally. She's been a cattle rancher and a goat herder and is a Master Food Preserver and an obsessive gardener. Mostly, though, history is her passion. World War II is her area of interest, and weaving tales that showcase strong women operating on the front lines of danger occupies most of her time.
