Bio: Diana Bretherick is a former criminal barrister. She has lectured in criminology and criminal justice and holds doctorates in both criminology and creative writing. She now writes historical crime fiction.Her first novel, The City of Devils, was set in 19th century Turin and has the world's first criminologist Cesare Lombroso as a central character. It was published in 2013 by Orion Books. Her second,a sequel called The Devil's Daughters is out now.
