The Princess Plan (A Royal Wedding)

1845. Eliza Tricklebank edits and runs Honeycutt’s Gazette, which is filled with the gossip which London’s ladies crave: the foibles of the ton, fashion, books, recipes, and—shockingly—some of the more lurid aspects of life. Eliza has a not-quite-perfect life as the spinster daughter of a respected judge, and she holds a secret wish close to her heart. She wishes to dance with handsome Crown Prince Sebastian of Alucia, who is currently visiting England.

Prince Sebastian must convince his father of his ability to handle his obligations as the next king of Alucia. But how is he to prove this when his personal secretary is found murdered in London? When Sebastian sees an anonymous note in a gossip gazette which refers to the murder, he must investigate. How is he to know the publisher would be the most infuriating, attractive woman he had ever met? Together Eliza and Sebastian work to discover the murderer, the plot that initiated it and their own love.

I enjoyed this amusing historical romance where the battle of the sexes is in the forefront, and I could not wait to see if  Eliza would ever get that dance with the prince. But I won’t tell! Read The Princess Plan for yourself.
