This is a fast-paced adventure featuring some real Norse history, wonderful characters, fantastic storytelling and superb historical research. Courtenay makes you feel the cold, taste the food and breathe the air of her characters. A must-read for fans of Diana Gabaldon, Nicola Cornick and Kate Ryder.
