Another title in the series Lives in Action, Henry VIII begins with Henry’s brother, Arthur, set to inherit the crown from his father, Henry VII. In an arranged marriage, he weds Catherine of Aragon, a Spanish princess. However, Arthur is to die before his coronation and Henry becomes the king. The story of Henry is well known and a popular choice for Key Stage 2 history in primary schools.
