Bio: My current project, A Harmony of Hells, is the third book of my Paris Trilogy. The first, a mystery, Floats the Dark Shadow, is set in Belle Époque Paris and features a young American artist, a French cop, assorted poets, courtesans, criminals, and a crazed serial killer. The thriller sequel, Bitter Draughts deals with multiple forms of prejudice during the upheaval of the Dreyfus Affair. Previously I wrote historical romance under my own name of Gayle Feyrer, and as Taylor Chase. I'm releasing two, Heart of Deception and Marian (previously named by the editor The Thief's Mistress) in 2023. The first is Elizabethan, the second a twist on the legend of Robin and Marian. I began drawing as soon as I could hold a crayon and writing at twelve. I've been a tie dye artist, go-go dancer, creator of ceramic beasties, illustrator, and have won prizes for mychocolate desserts. My current obsession is creating perfumes inspired by my characters. I live in Albany with my mystery writer husband, Richard Anderson, and our cats, Charlotte and Emily, the Flying Bronte Sisters.
