Bio:
W.L. Hawkin is a genre-blending author from the Pacific Northwest.
Her Hollystone Mysteries follow Estrada, a free-spirited bisexual magician and Wicca high priest, as he endeavors to save his friends and redeem himself. Currently, there are five: To Charm a Killer (murder mystery), To Sleep with Stones (murder mystery), To Render a Raven (fantasy thriller), To Kill a King (romantic historical fantasy), and To Dance with Destiny (fantasy thriller).
Her romantic suspense novel, Lure: Jesse & Hawk (2022) won a National Indie Excellence Award and Gold Reader’s Choice award.
In Writing with your Muse, she explains her writing process and offers tips and techniques.
Wendy has a BA in Indigenous Studies (Trent U, 1995) and PBDs in the Arts and Humanities (SFU 2000, 2007.) She’s an ongoing reviewer for the Ottawa Review of Books.
Her current works are GhostLight (a paranormal lighthouse mystery) and Rumrunner (historical fiction set in 1924 Victoria B.C.)
