Bio: I'm best known for writing the Gangster School series of MG comedy adventures, but historical novels are my abiding love. The Red Tunic, a novel about a girl who masquerades as her brother so that she can fight in the First World War, is currently under negotiation with a UK publisher who plans to publish it in 2024. I live in the UK and am a registered mudlark. Nothing excites me more than finding something lost in the Thames centuries and sometimes millennia ago. Recent finds include a piece of Roman mosaic floor and a glass eye! I'm about to start writing the third of my Mudlark Mysteries series. They chronicle the adventures of a group of Victorian mudlarks. They, too, are under negotiation with a UK publisher, who plans to start publishing them in 2023.
