William Streett
Bio: I was born and raised on a Maryland dairy farm, where my father sparked my love for books and history. Drawn to adventure, I attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks for five years. My career spanned 15 years as a security supervisor at a nuclear power plant, followed by 18 years as a direct support professional for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since retiring in 2019, I’ve been able to fully dedicate myself to writing, with a focus on early 19th-century history, fueled by my lifelong passion and extensive research.
About the Directory
Our online member directory allows visitors to view members’ profiles, their latest website/blog posts and links to their Facebook, Twitter and Goodreads accounts. It is also where our staff first look for news and features for the site.
All members are invited to sign up and let people connect with them. There’s help here if you run into any problems. Some members may prefer not to be listed publicly, and that’s fine too.
