Bio: My novels are set in early medieval Europe. Love's Knife is book 1 in the Trobairitz Sleuth series. It is a medieval murder mystery set in Toulouse at the turn of the 12th century. The Conquest trilogy - Daughter of the Last King, The Drowned Court, and The Anarchy - tell the story of a Welsh noblewoman caught up in the struggle between the Welsh and the Normans in the 12th century. Almodis the Peaceweaver is set in 11th century Toulouse and Barcelona and recounts the story of an Occitan female lord. The Viking Hostage is set in 10th century France and Wales. The story springs from the kidnap of a French noblewoman on the night before her wedding, during a Viking raid on an island monastery. My writing awards include Authors’ Foundation Award, Literature Wales Writers Bursary, Santander Research Award and The Impress Prize Shortlist. My novels are published by Meanda Books. I am a member of the Society of Authors and Historical Writers Association.
