Bio: Novelist, Editor: Editorial Consultant offering Proofreading and Editing novels. Susie Helme is an American from Nashville, Tennessee, living in London, after sojourns in Tokyo, Paris and Geneva. Once a journalist and editor of mobile communications magazines, she now subedits Dignity magazine, writes historical fiction novels and work as a freelance editorial consultant proofreading and editing other people’s novels. When it’s sunny, she enjoys gardening on her allotment. Her first novel, The Lost Wisdom of the Magi, published Dec 2020 by the Conrad Press, was awarded the 2021 Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Award for Best Historical. Her second novel, The Genizah Codex, a finalist for the 2022 Killer Nashville Claymore Award for Best Historical, will be published in Sep 2023, also with the Conrad Press. She is a founder member of the Bounds Green Book Writers writers’ circle.
