Bio: Stephanie Cowell is the author of CLAUDE & CAMILLE: A NOVEL OF MONET, MARRYING MOZART, NICHOLAS COOKE, THE PHYSICIAN OF LONDON, and THE PLAYERS; A NOVEL OF THE YOUNG SHAKESPEARE. She is a recipient of an American Book Award. Her work has been translated into nine languages, optioned for a film, and is the basis for the opera/singspiel "Marrying Mozart" to debut in New York City 2012.She was an opera singer for many years before turning to writing. She lives in NYC with her husband and has two sons.
