Bio: I'm currently working on COUNTERFEITS, a debut novel set in the South during the desperate final four months of the Great War and the outbreak of Spanish influenza. Before answering the siren call of writing, I followed my destiny into teaching and hold a B.A. in English from the University of California and an M.A. in Reading and Language Arts from the University of Arizona. Presently living in the Arizona desert, when I escape from my keyboard, I can be found hiking, swimming, catching up with family and friends, and traveling. Captivating reads and engrossing film dramas attract me like catnip, while chocolate is my ultimate kryptonite.
