Bio: Pauline is a novelist and short story writer, her debut novel, Charlotte & Arthur, published by Merdog Books, was released in October 2021. This book is a reimagining of Charlotte Brontë's marriage to Irish curate, Arthur Bell Nicholls, and their honeymoon in Wales and Ireland in July 1854. Taking early retirement from second level teaching in 2017 to pursue a writing career, Pauline, conscious that writing would not pay the bills, also established a writing centre, The Kildare Writing Centre, where she facilitates courses, currently online, in creative writing for adults. Among her many awards and nominations – Pauline is an Irish Writers Centre Novel Fair winner and won the RTE Guide/Penguin Ireland Short Story competition in 2015.
