Bio: Mhairead MacLeod was born in the Highlands of Scotland and now lives in Australia. Her historical fiction novel, 'The False Men', won two manuscript awards before it was published in September 2017. Her second novel, 'A Hospital in the Clouds' was a finalist in the USA Screencraft Cinematic Book Competition 2021 and was awarded for presentation to the 2019 ADAPTABLE Screen Play Awards in Australia. Her third novel is due for publication in late 2024.
