Bio: Lisa Verge Higgins is a critically acclaimed author of uplifting women's fiction. Her stories about women's lives and women's friendships, most recently Random Acts of Kindness and its sequel, Senseless Acts of Beauty, have been described by reviewers as "joyous, uplifting life lessons" that "inspire us to focus on what's really important in our lives." She also wrote a dozen historical romance novels, translated into 17 languages, under the name Lisa Ann Verge. Currently, she's working on historical fiction about the infamous 19th century Spanish dancer, Lola Montez. Lisa is a member of the Author’s Guild, Novelists Inc., WFWA, the Historical Novel Society, and a ruthless, long-standing critique group she loves to pieces. A RITA finalist and winner of multiple regional awards, she currently lives in New Jersey with her ex-rugby-playing husband. When not plotting new novels, she forages for wild mushrooms, studies Turkish, and tries to keep up with her amazing adult daughters
