Bio: Edie Cay writes award-winning Regency Romance about women’s boxing. Four of the five books in When the Blood Is Up are available, with the final book publishing in 2024. Awards include Best Indie Book, Next Generation Indie Book, Golden Leaf Best First Book, a finalist for the HOLT Medallion, the Chatelaine, and Lambda Literary. Edie obtained dual BAs in English and Music from California State University Hayward, and an MFA in Creative Writing from University of Alaska Anchorage. As a speaker, she has presented at Historical Novel Society North America, Regency Fiction Writers, the History Quill, the Chicago-North Spring Fling, the Toronto Northern Hearts conference, and the Historical Romance Retreat. She is a member of The Regency Fiction Writers, the Historical Novel Society, ALLi, and a founding member of Paper Lantern Writers.
