Bio: Katherine Hutt is a Brooklyn-based ghostwriter and publicist who works with nonprofit organizations and social impact businesses. She is Accredited in Public Relations and is a past Washington PR Woman of the Year. She stayed sane during quarantine by researching and writing an historical novel inspired by her immigrant great-grandparents and the stories she heard as a child. The book takes place in Budapest and the Lake Balaton region during the Austro-Hungarian Empire and is a tale of love conquering religious intolerance. She is currently querying the completed manuscript to literary agents while writing her second novel (also historical fiction). Katherine is a member of the Center for Fiction and numerous online groups of writers, book lovers, and those of Hungarian ancestry. A passionate theatre lover (although not an actor), she is a lifetime member of the Episcopal Actors' Guild, as well as co-founder of Houghton Hall Arts Community, a rehearsal space in midtown Manhattan.
