- I have a series of novels about the ethnogenesis of the Black Caribs of St. Vincent Island, Atlantic Slavery, and the conflict between the Caribs vs the English. Chatoyer: Freedom's War Chief, recounts the career of St. Vincent's national hero, completed for Stanford's writing certificate, available https://store.bookbaby.com, Amazon, Kobo, or B&Noble. The Mercenary traces the life of a 17th century Bantu sold into slavery, trained as child soldier, completed for an MFA, now available. There are seven more tracing the ethnogenesis of the Black Caribs of St. Vincent Island in the Caribbean. Education: BA anthropology and sociology, teaching credential social studies and coaching, MAs in education/PE, anthropology, humanities/history, MFA fiction, Ph.D. education. Retired secondary social studies teacher and athletic coach, college anthropology, history, and social science instructor. Lived in Panama, Japan, Italy, and Spain. Now Los Altos, SF Bay Area.
