Bio: John is the award-winning author of thirteen books and numerous articles and short stories. His most recent historical novel is The Bottle Conjuror, co-authored with Jack Gagliardo, is set in 18th century London. His The Savage Apostle is set in 17th century New England and recounts the events leading up to King Philip's War. He is a frequent speaker at conferences, universities/libraries, and on TV and radio. He teaches Creative Writing at Ohio University,and is on the Gotham Writers Workshop faculty.
