Bio: After I was awarded a scholarship in creative writing, I entered a graduate program in English, ultimately completing a Ph.D. I have taught literature and writing at various colleges. A number of my essays have been published in scholarly journals and my short stories have been published in several liI have a PhD in English and have taught at various colleges. My short stories have been published in several journals, among them Descant, Red Rock Review, Mission at Tenth, Blue Moon Literary Review, Gray Sparrow Journal, Poetica Magazine, JuxtaProse, Smoky Blue Literature and Art Magazine, Five on the Fifth, The Opiate, Pennsylvania Literary Journal, and Minerva Rising and another is forthcoming in The Writing Disorder. My novel, Lily’s Home Front, was published in October 2018. My essays on the author Thomas Hardy have been published in scholarly journals. Histria Books will be publishing my latest WWII novel, THE SECRET RANCH, the summer of 2025.
