Bio: Erica Obey pursued an academic career specializing in the women folklorists of the nineteenth century, before she decided she’d rather be writing the stories herself. Today, there are three places you can find Erica when she’s not writing: on a hiking trail, in her garden, or rummaging in the archives of any nearby historical society. She is the author of six mysteries set in the Hudson Valley, as well as a scholarly book on Lady Charlotte Guest, who translated the Mabinogion from the Welsh, as well as being one of the most respected china collectors of the nineteenth century.
