Bio: David Mampel is a former minister, semi-retired clown and artist. He writes fiction and poetry to bring a little sun to the cold, rainy darkness of the Pacific Northwest. His work has appeared in Copperfield Review Quarterly, The Aurora Journal, Remington Review and other publications. His self-published memoirs (2015), “Coyote Spirit: The Improbable Transformation from Minister to Clown,” has received multiple 5-star reviews. David is currently working on short stories, poetry, and his debut novel manuscript, The Light of Occitania, a work of historical fiction based on the Cathar Christians in 13th Century Europe.
