Bio: Crystal King is the author of FEAST OF SORROW, a novel about the world's first "foodie," available from Touchstone Books/Simon & Schuster April 25, 2017. Feast of Sorrow is a fictional retelling of Marcus Gavius Apicius, a wealthy 1st century Roman whose name is found on the oldest known cookbook. Crystal is a marketing and communications veteran, freelance writer and Pushcart-nominated poet. She has taught writing, social media and creativity courses at Grub Street, Harvard Extension School, Boston University, UMass Boston and Mass College of Art.
