Bio: Constance Emmett was born in Brooklyn, New York, where her mother's family landed after leaving Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Irish family stories found a lifelong home in her, and formed her as a writer. She creates characters who experience dislocation, marginalization, grief, and regret but have the resilience common to all survivors. She lives with her wife and their dog in a hill town in Western Massachusetts, where they enjoy almost everything about country living. Released in January 2022, Everything Will Be All Right (reviewed in the August 2022 Historical Novel Review) is book 2 in the Finding Their Way Home series, as sequel to Heroine of Her Own Life, published by Next Chapter in 2019. Constance is at work on the third book in the Finding Their Way Home series and a novel set in colonial New York.
