Bio: Leigh Grant illustrated over 30 children's books, including popup books on Ancient Rome and Ancient Egypt, published internationally. In 1996, Abrams encouraged her to write the histories of the gifts in the Twelve Days of Christmas, which began her interest in writing. Her illustrated books have won various awards and she appeared on the Christmas Today Show. Recently she wrote her debut novel, Mask of Dreams, a 15th century tale of Renaissance Venice and the Balkans, soon to be published, that won Chanticleer's 2017 Chatelaine Grand Prize for Women's and Romantic Fiction (awarded 2018). She is a member of the Authors Guild, National League of American Pen Women, Society of Illustrators, and an associate of the Appraisers Association of America. Website: maskofdreams.com
