Bio: Nancy Blanton writes award-winning historical fiction set primarily in 17th century Ireland where she’s visited frequently since childhood. Her fifth novel, The Noblest Share of Earth (2024), focuses on The O'Doherty Clan of County Donegal at the end of the Nine Years War, and the beginnings of the Plantation of Ulster. Her fourth novel, When Starlings Fly as One, tells the story of Ireland’s longest siege at Rathbarry Castle, County Cork, during the Great Rebellion of 1641. In addition to HNS membership, she is also a member of the Florida Writers Association, and is co-founder of Amelia Indie Authors, a co-op of writers helping writers. She’s been a journalist, magazine editor, and corporate communications leader. She lives in Florida.
