Bio: Catherine Meyrick is an Australian writer of romantic historical fiction. She lives in Melbourne, Australia but grew up in Ballarat, a large regional city steeped in history. A retired customer service librarian, she has a Master of Arts in history and is an obsessive genealogist. Catherine has published two novels set in England in the mid-1580s - Forsaking All Other (2018) and The Bridled Tongue (2020). Her most recent novel, Cold Blows the Wind (2022), is set in Hobart Town, Tasmania between 1878 and 1885 and is based on a period in the lives of her great-great grandparents, both the children of convicts transported to Van Diemen's Land.
