Bio: A. L. Kucherenko’s interest in the Middle Ages began with a personal challenge to learn about something she disliked. After several years of research and travel along Roman roads and waterways now nearly extinct, she developed a profound respect for the resilient people who came before her, culminating in a desire to share their stories. Her first book, KNIGHT'S PAWN, was published in October 2022. In 1066, a Norman knight, sympathetic to the English, struggles with his desire for a united England against the destruction of his birth land by his cousin, William the Conqueror, and his wife’s relatives--William’s enemies.
