Bio: I specialize in thoroughtly researching the times and visiting the locations and institutions about which I write. The Songbird of Venice will be released January 10, 2025, and is set in that city's early 18th century. The story includes Antonio Vivaldi and his relationship to the orphanage Pio Ospedale degli Pieta’ and its orphans through Grazia, a fictionalized character. I researched medieval England 600-1200 C.E. for 25 years and found compelling King HenryI's early years. Three factions wanted him dead; I wanted to know how he defeated them. I published the Henry's Spare Queen Trilogy set in the reign of King Henry I of England from 1099-1103 C.E.: Lady Margaret's Escape, Lady Margaret's Challenge, Lady Margaret's Future. Prequel to the series is Lady Margaret's Disgrace set in 1097. My next WIP is set in the Canadian wilderness near Quebec City in 1665 C.E. and features Madeleine, an immigrant girl whom King Louis XIV made his daughter by law.
