A Prince of Norway
Newlywed Sydney Hansen is shocked to learn that one of the things her husband Nicolas has neglected to tell her is that he is a Norwegian prince. They leave their home in the 1820s Missouri Territory to travel to Christiania, where the Storting, Norway’s parliament, will decide who is to be the country’s next king. It soon becomes clear that the royal family conceals other secrets that may endanger the Hansens’ marriage and perhaps even cost Sydney her life.
Part two of a projected six-book series, A Prince of Norway is primarily the story of a romantic relationship between two strong-willed protagonists who are just beginning to learn about each other. Well-researched and entertainingly written, the strong romantic elements will appeal to historical romance fans. Recommended.
