During this workshop, Darcie Rowan will discuss all the role of marketing your books and how publicity plays a big part of that strategy. We will discuss on and offline target and guerrilla marketing plus one of the best publicity tools that an author can work with to get reviews on their own. Come prepared with specific questions about your own book’s publicity and she will give you pointers on getting more readers.

About the Presenter: For more than twenty-five years, Darcie Rowan has been helping authors and publishers achieve their marketing and publicity goals. Using “big picture marketing,” Darcie develops strategies that identify promotional opportunities, branding initiatives, and impactful public relations plans that get results. As a long-standing industry leader, she has garnered hundreds of thousands of media placements for her clients and the media returns her calls because of who she is and what she brings them.

Darcie coaches clients on how to successfully connect with their customers through social networking and social marketing. An accomplished blogger for more than 10 years, she helps experts and authors create the reputation they want to be known for while building their media profiles. She’s a graduate of New York University for Journalism and resides in NYC.
