Caught the Rosemary Sutcliff bug early and have been an HNS member since its first year. At various times I’ve been a reviewer and reviews editor for The Historical Novels Review and editor of Solander, now sadly defunct. I also helped organise the first HNS conference and am delighted to see how far it’s come since then!
I live in Handcross, West Sussex, not so far from where Rosemary Sutcliff lived and set some of her novels. In my reading I gravitate toward the Roman era but enjoy HF from most periods.
