My two works of historical fiction are Martin of Gfenn and Savior, both set in thirteenth century Switzerland.
I lived in the People’s Republic of China in the early 1980s and have traveled intensively (not extensively!) in Switzerland and Northern Italy, studying painting, history and Italian.
I’ve published many short-stories and articles in a variety of publications from the Denver Post to the Business Communication Quarterly.
I earned my undergraduate degree in American Literature from University of Colorado, Boulder and my graduate degree in American Literature from the University of Denver. For many years I lived in the San Diego area, most recently in Descanso, a small town in the Cuyamaca Mountains. I have recently returned to Colorado to live in Monte Vista in the San Luis Valley.
I’ve taught college and university writing at all levels, business communication, literature and English as a Second Language.
