I write historical fiction and non fiction. To The Fair Land, an eighteenth-century thriller set in Bristol and the South Seas, was published by Silverwood Books in 2012. The Bristol Suffragettes, non fiction, was published in 2013, and The Road to Representation: Essays on the Women’s Suffrage Campaign, in 2017. Bloodie Bones: A Dan Foster Mystery, the first in a planned series of books about a Bow Street Runner who is also an amateur pugilist, was published in May 2015. Bloodie Bones was joint winner of the HNS Indie Award 2016, and was also a semi finalist in the M M Bennetts Award for Historical Fiction 2016.In 2017 the second Dan Foster Mystery, The Butcher’s Block, was published, and a Dan Foster novella, The Fatal Coin.
