My principal form of rebellion as a child was reading via flashlight under the sheets. Well, there was one other thing. We didn’t have a TV and, as the oldest of five children, I was always sent to be far too early (trust me). The people next door had a TV I could see through their window. I couldn’t hear anything, but I spent many happy hours honing my Peeping-TV-Tom skills. I was shocked that the government didn’t think that qualified me for work with the FBI. So, I write instead.
Actually, I went to law school and practice law, but I also write fiction. I write historical fiction set during the American Revolutionary War, primarily in Vermont.
