Kiean DeWess is an aspiring writer of fiction from rural south-western Pennsylvania. With history degrees from IUP (BS) and PSU (MA), his career has been in education, receiving a Distinguished Teacher of the Year award by the Pennsylvania Geographical Society and a National Endowment for the Humanities fellowship award. He has been an historical interpreter for 18th century historic sites as well as a featured extra in movies and a model for historical artists. His short story, Revelation, was selected for inclusion in the 2014 Winter Edition of Grey Wolfe Publishing’s quarterly literary journal, Legends. Cold or rainy days are for reading, writing, researching original sources; comfortable days are for enjoying the wilderness surrounding his home.
