Juliane Cortino’s thirty-five-year career has afforded her extensive experience with broadcast, print, and Internet media. In 2011 she published a book titled “Nothing Can Scare Me Now: Managing Breast Cancer So It Doesn’t Manage You.” She has just completed a historical novel about a German girl who joins the Edelweiss Pirates resistance group during World War II. The book is called “The Still Voice.”
Born in Tokyo and educated around the globe, Juliane is devoted to exploring her world through the written word. She has worked as a reporter for United Press International, editor for Information Week magazine, and freelance news writer for ABC-TV. Subjects covered over the years range from food to health and technology. Her articles have appeared in PC Week, The San Jose Mercury News, and The Wall Street Journal.
