In 2017, 19th Century ‘Thief-taker’s Trek’ won Crime Novel Award from Scottish Association of Writers. This one is about child slavery in the Industrial Revolution. Not as grim as it sounds!
My 1810 Napoleonic historical novel ‘Legacy of Greed’ won the 2013 Scottish Association of Writers Crime Novel Competition.
I’m the current President of the Edinburgh Writers’ Club, 1947-2017 so celebrating 70 yrs with club party in September.
