Ian Anderson is the author of ‘Knight’, a story of one man’s refusal to capitulate, when all the world seemed to conspire against him. Set in the fifteenth century, it is the story of a king’s champion, who, robbed of the love and beauty of the woman who had made his life complete, and stripped of all he had worked for and achieved, still found the strength to pick himself up, and move forward again, and, in the process, carry a king to victory on the battlefields of France.
Ian was born in Western Australia, shortly after the end of World War 2, into a society still proud to be part of the British Empire.
With formal qualifications in science and engineering, and now approaching the end of a long career in engineering and IT, Ian’s interests have broadened over the years, spanning music, theatre, history and literature.
Ian now lives in Surrey, England, and, over the years, has written consistently, but always for a technical audience. ‘Knight’ is his first venture into fiction.
