Bio: Alistair Forrest is a journalist and editor who lives and breathes historical fiction. His novel Libertas - set in southern Spain at the time of Caesar's final battle - is published by Sharpe Books who have commissioned a series of novellas following a veteran centurian in the aftermath of the battle of Philippi. He's also working on a retelling of a familiar Old Testament story and has a whole stack of great ideas just waiting to be written. All while working as a magazine editor in the UK natural health market and being an all-round jolly good egg. He lives in Alderney - location for a superb annual literary festival - with his wife, two large Maremmas and a Spanish cat. They (the humans) have five children between them.
