We have our quarterly meeting on May 19th at 2:00 at the Fairfax Branch Library at 161 S. Gardner Street, Los Angeles (90036). Suzy Witten, who is familiar with this location, tells me “parking shouldn’t be a problem. There’s a lot of street parking in the neighborhood, plus a decent-sized lot adjacent to the library which is for Pan Pacific Park.” The main topic of the meeting will be a presentation/discussion about social media, promotion, and digital publishing by our member Suzy Witten, author of THE AFFLICTED GIRLS, a Novel of Salem, and David Wisehart, author of DEVIL’S LAIR and publisher of the popular Amazon blog “Kindle-Author.” We will also have an open forum to discuss all things historical fiction, including an update on what we all are writing and reading.
