Victoria Owens

About me

At different times, Victoria Owens has worked in the book-trade, as a legal executive, and as an English language teacher. In 2009 she won the inaugural Jane Austen short story competition and in 2013 her first novel, ‘Drawn to Perfection,’ was published by Hookline Books. Set in the Welsh marches, it is a tale of eighteenth century family life.

She has recently self-published an edition of the surviving Notebooks of the engineer James Brindley (1716-1772).
