Vicky Alvear Shecter is the author of the young adult novel, CLEOPATRA’S MOON (Arthur A. Levine/Scholastic, 2011), the story of Cleopatra’s only daughter, Selene. THE LA TIMES called the novel “magical” while PW described it “fascinating…atmospheric.” She has also written two biographies for children, ALEXANDER THE GREAT ROCKS THE WORLD and CLEOPATRA RULES! THE AMAZING LIFE OF THE ORIGINAL TEEN QUEEN.
