Born in Kingston, Ontario, Sally is President of the Writers’ Community of Durham Region in Canada, an organization of over 300 members. Sally is represented by literary agent, Sam Hiyate of The Rights Factory in Toronto. Her historical fiction/fantasy crossover trilogy, Legend of Three Crowns has just been offered for publication. Sally is an award-winning poet and has published articles in The Globe and Mail, Word Weaver, and Heart So Open, Soul So Wide by Amherst Writers and Artists Press. Writing credits include a prize from the Ontario Poetry Society, a Shortlist and Longlist Prize from the Montreal International Poetry Prize and Global Anthologies 2011 and 2013, as well as award-winning film credits. Recipient of the Len Cullen Writing Scholarship, Sally holds certificates from Humber School for Writers in Toronto, studying with award-winning authors Alistair McLeod and Nino Ricci. Other works include a contemporary novel, Wings of a Fly.
