S. Thomas Bailey
S. Thomas Bailey is an Award-Winning author and independent researcher of early Colonial life, a raw historian at heart, and a writer of historical fiction by choice.
My sense of history is enriched by a Mi’kmag grandfather and a family tree that can be traced back to the young surveyor, James Cook, who began his career mapping out the St. Lawrence River system during the French and Indian War.
I resides in a quiet hamlet north of Toronto, Ontario, with my wife, two children, and Aussie, the family’s Australian shepherd.
My writing inspiration comes from my daughter, who was born with Down Syndrome, and her determination to have people see what she can do and not what she can’t. Along with her brother, who keeps me young, the entire family shares my passion for the early colonial life covering the French and Indian War period.
