Patricia O’Reilly
About me
Patricia O’Reilly lives in Dublin. Writing is in her blood. When she was a child she dreamed of having a book for sale in a bookshop with her name on its cover. And like the best of dreams, it came to pass. In her time she has written acres of newspaper and magazine features; radio plays and documentaries; scores of Sunday Miscellany pieces; and dozens of short stories.
An undreamed of and most rewarding spin-off has been the writing workshops she convenes for UCD, on-line workshops, as well as providing an editing service to help writers bring their work up to professional standard. She also writes a blog for writers – lovewriting.patriciaoreilly.net.
Patricia’s work in progress includes a novel exploring the relationship between Eileen Gray, the internationally renowned designer and architect and Bruce Chatwin, the rising star of Fleet Street. Why was the interview he carried out with her in her Paris apartment in November 1972 never published?
